Japanese Iaito (non-edged practice sword) - TORYUMON KOSHIRAE

We are proud to present the practical iaito: the Toryumon. A simple and elegant iaito designed with quality for practical use (iaido, kendo,...).

The phrase "toryumon" describes a climbing dragon, reaching a barrier—it refers to the path we all must take to improve ourselves and face the next challenges. It is with this attitude in mind that we hope iaidoka of all levels will use Toryumon to achieve their goals.

Comes standard with a black cotton ito and sageo tsuka, copper dragon-themed menuki, fuchi, and kashira. You can choose the tsuba that suits your taste. The suguha hamon creates a refined straight line along the entire length of the blade. The blade is made from a sand-cast, bubble-free zinc/aluminum alloy. Each Toryumon is handmade in a workshop in Gifu Prefecture.
