Shorinjiryu and the Street
Sensei Pete began his Shorinjiryu study in 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, at age of eighteen and has over 30 years of Shorinjiryu study.
He holds the rank of Rokyudan, 6th degree blackbelt and title Renshi as awarded by the Shorinjiryu Shinzen Kyokai in 2005 and holds a Shodan in Tomiki Aikido, studied Judo as an undergraduate, and has taken numerous federal self defense courses. He is the founder and headmaster of Shorinjiryu Ake no Myojo Budo, Morning Star Martial Arts.
Sensei Pete created a number of unique seminars including BullyProofing for Parents and Children and Self Defense for Men.
Sensei Pete teaches in Carroll County, Maryland, USA, and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
